NYUK
he meant kph i am sure 15 39 does not= 98 mph.not even with pro circuit pipes and platinum silencers.i have been 115+ on a banshee and know what it takes to get there.i know 75 mph feels like 98 on holeshots. but it`s not. I ALSO CALL BULLSHIT! STICK AROUND MY MAN, it gets better. many many newbies have come here with their claim of high mph on stockers. many have become fine upstanding hq members. we have been around this block before. keep coming back it works if you work it. Radshee
what are ya'ls bikes running average?????
dajogejr
about 75MPH in 300ft of sand...LOL... It's really not about what we're averaging...it's more like laws of physics, gearing, hp, etc. Your bike needs to make a certain amount of power to be able to pull gearing that will allow you to go at or near 100MPH. Unless you have a 30MPH wind at your back and are traveling down a 45 degree descending grade, your motor and setup can't do it. You could always put the gearing on that are capable of doing it....BUT....your motor as is with your setup can't pull it. Realistically...it'll probably do high 70's, low 80s... If you want to find out...go to a 1/4 mile pavement drag strip, and run it. The bike will be topped out by 1/2 track no problem. That will give you roughly 1/8 mile to keep and maintain top speed PEGGED out. See what the slip says...you'll be surprised.
BaNsHeeJuNkEy
I can only got mine to 86 as it was when i got it. i think you had a rope tied to your front bumper and someone was pulling you. when i am done i am hopen to see at least 95 and that is with port, bore and big ass carbs. plus some other shit. badassbanshee479
http://www.everything2stroke.com/resource/banshee.php you would have to spinning that motor at almost 11000 rpm to get to your 98mph speed. hold it at that rpm for a while and let us know what happens! Dinner
My mods are... Pro Circuit Pipes and Silencers Boyesen Reeds and Ported Stock Cages K&N Filter W/O Lid Small Clean Up Port (nothing drastic since I did it myself, and yes it did help, lol) And I think that is about it for performance parts....oh im bored out to 364 cc as well, lol Right now I am running 14/40 gearing, 20" tires and whatever jetting. Even with the stuff I have now (nothing at all really for performance) I am running anywhere from 110km/h to maybe 130km/h. I havn't gone out and clocked her yet so i'm not 100%. And I would have to agree with the others...with the mods you have, you would have to be going down a huge ass hill, and even then your motor would rev so high it would blow up. You would also have to be running like 18/34 gearing to reach that speed, and with your motor, it wouldn't even be able to pull 4th... Y'all need to listen up and learn how to actually read. I said 75MPH in 300foot of sand...as in a sand drag... I can tell you with 100% certainty my bike has over 3 times the HP your bike does, and mine will actually do 100MPH if I chose to gear it that way. Like I said...go to a pavement drag strip, they'll even let your dad/buddy whatever race in the lane next to you... Your bike will be topped out by half track...post up the time slip. Until then, you're wrong, you might not realize it...but you are. 100% certain.....
