Just remember to take away some timing with a 60 shot...................................or it will go boom!!!!!!!!

I doubt I'll go that big...but 30 to 40 isn't out of the question.

I'd probably start with stock timing...go from there...

Gotta get a few other things first so I don't lock a tranny first time I hit the shot...

So...next question...

Have you set this up on a meth bike with VForce reeds.

I've read elsewhere the reeds can freeze and cause problems, I beleive people run TDR reeds...

Any advice on that?

And another question, I saw on the site the ATV kit does not come with a battery, rather a sled mikuni pulse fed pump.

How does it tie in electrically...how does it discharge NOS, etc??

The more I read, the more I really, really like the kit.

JT...30 per hole...come get you some...yeahaawww....

:)

Okay now that i got your attention lmao jk...The pulse pump works great you just plump into your intake runner closer to the cylinder the better, the controller beleive it or not actually uses like 8 AA batteries...now i no what your thinking but ive been running one on my personal bike for almost 2 seasons and havent changed the batteries yet, plus no need to mount a big battery and keeping it charged and all that nonsense just easy. Calvin has probably one of the most complex systems on the saber ive ever seen and its just a mess to deal with this kit is just so easy, safe and clean i love it.

Now as far as the reeds go we are running the vforce right now but i have also heard the same thing but havent had any bad luck yet. Calvin popped a set on his (not a boss noss but nitrous is nitrous as far as the reed goes) but it was back firing and carrying on cause the spread wasnt right and i think thats what got his not the nitrous ... that or the 82hp shot he put in it hehe...

Now as far as timing goes im running +7 on the plate with a stock cdi cause even on the stock setting the dana adds alot of timing at the top of the curve. Compression is your biggest concern, on a cub with upwards of 180lbs of cranking compression we stretched studs and couldnt get the nitrous to work but after some rechambering and down to about 150 we were good to go.

so how does the fuel pump work?? do you just run a fuel line to it and let it dead head the fuel at the box till it needs it?? also, where do the fuel enrichment hoses go?? do you happen to have any pics of this setup on a bike?? could I install an extra shut off valve on my tank to run to the fuel pump??

The fuel pump I saw was a Mikuni 3 outlet.

If I had to guess...

One inlet for fuel, one inlet for pulse/vacuum...one outlet for each carb and one outlet for the fuel enrichment.

I'd be talking to them before I bought mine. I already run a fuel pump, so I'd run an aluminum tank, add an extra fuel valve on the other side, and run a different fuel pump ONLY for the NOS Enrichment...probably a second pump like I have now. I'm positive the fitted barb I have in my cylinders supplies enough vacuum for both pumps...so, it should be as easy as an extra fuel valve in the tank, run the push button to the bars, mount the nozzles in the air filters....push and spray...LOL.

I'm gonna have McFly cut me another stock head with 22cc domes to get my compression down for the spray...I think 175 to 180 is too much...my guess.

I'm working on ARP head studs too.....:)

The fuel pump is just your typical pulse pump the one that boss uses has on inlet and 3 outlets I tyically run one outlet to each carb and one to the control box. The enrichment lines plumb into the intake boots with a simple hose barb fitting and the nitrous jets go into the filters either with a 90* jet or a straight so you have some options on where you mount it. I will get some pics as soon as i can

I would be leary of running a fuel pump to a carb not setup to run them, could very easily overflow the larger needle and seat ...or over power them, and do some flooding....

Your thoughts?

(Not like that's a problem for me...but, just saying...)

I'd use methanol as the fuel enrichment...

Def need to have carbs set up for pump but that usually just entails getting a different needle and seat and maybe some float modifications depending on the carb. But i would def consider it if your going to spray especially since you will already have the pump...why not just one less thing to worry about right?

Now that's funny...I was gonna write you the same thing, JT....:)

The guy sounds kinda shady...it's a whole long story.

He's sending me a check today. If it doesn't clear...or there's a problem...they'll be back up for sale. I'm a little concerned over the deal...

If this guy falls through, I'll give you a deal on them...
