works shocks pressure

spike

Recommended Posts

I just got a set of works dual rates with remote rezzie's, I think that the nitrogen bottles are empty, when i try to take the pressure in them there nothing, am I supposed to get a reading out of these? if yes what is it? I can fill them up at work as we use nitrogen in the aircrafts tires. but i'm not sure how much to put in.

thanks.

Works,Custom Axis, and PEP all recommend 200 pounds. Elka and Ohlins recommend 150 pounds

I they where setup for a 220 pound riders on stock a arms will they work alright for me +3 arms 180 lbs? or a revalve is a must. im new to this shock business and there is alot of thing im not sure. :ermm:

there is more to the valveing then the wieght its all about return rates and all that, id say bit the bullet and have it done right for your weight. they will change out all the seals and put new oil in there as well.im probly going to have to do the same thing on my rear marvin shaw i just got, but its alot cheaper then an elka or works shock :)
