LiftdT4R
Got mine that I bought today and the thing is fuckin huge! I either have to have it hang half way off the bars or I have to move the master cylinder all the way in, and then the brake lever is in a shitty spot. I don't like how the throttle cable comes out on the side of the bars facing toward you either. Anyone else have this same problem? I think I'm going to send it back if they'll take it. peak-j
Are you sure they sent the right one? Mine bolted right on, I didn't have to move anything. Also, the cable comes out in the stock position on mine. It is the same size as the stock assembly. I'd say they sent the wrong one. I am very satisfied with mine also, it's nice to be able to switch back and forth.
LiftdT4R
Hmm, maybe theyve changed them since, I'll post up a pic today. It's still on the bike. Any chance you have a pic of yours?
peak-j
Hopefully you can see it in the pic, first bike shown. If you can't see I'll try to get one tomorrow. Edited October 7, 2007 by peak-j
LiftdT4R
Got it all setup yesterday, I run Powermadd handguards too, so it wound up being a really tight squeeze with everything on there. Overall I am not happy with how far over the master cylinder sits on the bars, and the position of the brake lever, but it's ok I guess. I'll post up some pics when I get a chance. micorps1
Mine went right on and hooked right up to the throttle cable for my 2-in-1. I love mine.

I ordered up and put one of these throttle assys on my shee a few months ago...SAME PROBLEM!! in order to make the thing fit, my master cylinder was in the middle of the bend on my fatbars, and the throttle tube was still hanging past the handlebar end by a good 1/2". since i work at a dealership, i looked through P.U. and found the solution. It's a 5 or 6mm billet spacer that goes on the inside of the clamp on your master cylinder. with this spacer, and a little bit of grinder work on the lever, now everything fits nicely. throttle tube is all the way on the bar and my master cylinder is where it should be. All in all, i like the throttle assy. It looks good, works well, and it's cheaper than most standard billet throttle assys. As far as the fitment thing goes... they are a "universal fit", so a little modification is to be expected. I would still recomend one to others, they are handy. glamisaurus
I ordered a cable from trinity and that is what they sent. It was bulky, did not operate smooth, and was expensive. It did not even put it on the bike. Just get a standard cable from some place like Vito's.

glamisaurus
For some reason I thought you were talking about their throttle cable. I looked up that throttle and that thing is big. I have the Terry Cable standard thumb throttle and you have to move things around to make it fit also.
peak-j
I didn't have to move anything at all on mine, and it is the same size as the stock one.
