shock for +6

No it will bolt to the exact same spot. Just now your swinger will have 6 more inches hanging off the rear of the bike. So you will have to get your shock revalved for the extra leverage

My bike has a +4 and I like it and the spring is cranked all the way down, but it feels fine when I ride and jump. What difference would I feel (and this dude with the +6) by getting it re valved?

I did a big booboo... I cut the swinger before the j arm mount...haha well I learned the hard way..I custom made a brracket going across the swingarm.. It will definitly add strength.. I have the shock held up right now with threaded rod so I can move it to my buddy's house so I can weld it once zI get the correct pin to go through the mount.. I'll post some pics is the morning.. Not a bad fix I don't think for an oooops. I'm sure there are a few others out that have made this same mistake. Maybe I can give someone an idea if they happen to do the same as I.. and remember.. THINK BEFOE YOU CUT....

when you revalve it , the shock will have the correct return rate and wont feel so soft. you will notice that you bottom out alot if its too soft. revalving it fixes that problem.
