crazybanshee
Thinking of trying the Skat-trak Edge instead of the sand skate 2. They look like a taller paddle. Thanks for all the info. Rippen we may have met at one time. I dune with alot of people from the Berthoud area. May have friends in common. Doug

I liked them better then sand stars.
BigRed350x
I'm running this junk for hillshooting this year... 4mil gorr woods port in-frame shearers +2+1 arms w/ stock tires (my dune tires have too much offset and smash into trees) +4 swinger 35 pwk's on methanol (also have a set on gas) have a bunch of paddle and gearing options... 22" 10 paddle extremes 21" 9 paddle extremes 20" 10 paddle haulers I like the 20" 10 paddle haulers the most, but they dont give me the clearance I need for the hills rippen and theshee are talking about. I'd have a chain full of sand and some unhappy times... - Jared
kawiking
i thought about that... theshee... why not a set of 22 ' instead of the 21's
theshee
I dont really have a solid reason for the 21s. I just like how they work lol... I have 21-12-8 7 paddle superlites on my rap 700 and love them so I figured they would work well on the shee too.

Hilarious
Its a 4mil Fast duneport as Kiel mentioned.. So with that equals good torque from the 4mil as well as the porting... The porting on my bike is probably ported a tad more to the topend than a all out hill shooter may do but along with the 35mm Pwk's that plays a little into the duning/drag side. I also run the Vforce reeds which I belive helps with the quick low end throttle responce.. Also Iam running the Noss cool head.. Where we ride the compression is probably right around 158-160 psi range.. Good compression for the bottom but not so crazy it hurts some of the top(also I rather not run full race fuel-lol).. My pipes are CPI.. Again I was wanting something that comes on QUICK AND HARD.. But Cpi's also offer some top end so that goes back to the duning/drag side.. So with that setup this thing THROWS DOWN of the hills.. I wish we could go out and run the stuff that Sno does.. Being at sea level Be RIPPEN shit up-lol Iam not sure if thats what all your after man.. If there is anything I missed or a question you have feel free to ask!!! RIPPEN So, you're running 50/50 pump and race gas? I've got to check the compression in mine. I havent done that since I put my motor together. Your motor and mine are quite similar. Yours looks like it runs pretty damn good in the vids.
kawiking
im running 50/50 on my 140 lbs comp.. bike but im running a drag port and +5 timing.. great top end, not sure what domes im going to run... i want that top end and dont want to spend the crap out of my 9 paddle tripple buffs (i drag/play with it).. In Walden we are about 8,500 so it drops it down a bit more.. So yeah, it runs pretty damn good considering the elevation.. What elevation you at? Yeah, there's the difference. lol It's a good climber. I'm even running damn near the same paddles as you. You say you've still got all stock suspension? I'm thinking seriously about tring out one of those rear marvin hillshooters with the coil over.
