RIPRuck
Just looking for some input on the Holeshot XCR's. Thinking of grabbing a set of rears in 20x11x9 and would like to see some mounted on a banshee if any one has them.
dajogejr
Just looking for some input on the Holeshot XCR's. Thinking of grabbing a set of rears in 20x11x9 and would like to see some mounted on a banshee if any one has them. I had them on my stock motor, piped/jetted 96. Good tire...but the Razrs are a better tire. They're more meaty....and bite better. I have older pics of mine at home...I'll try to remember to post one or two up... RIPRuck
Decided on getting some kenda knarly's. I ride mostly trails and hear they hook up really nice and wear out slower than the holeshots. Thanks anyways guys!
hotrodbanshee
I used xcr's on my shee and could not get them to hook up at all. I switched to maxxis irazrs and they were better, but still not happy. I have a new set of kenda sport radials that UPS should be bringing tomorrow and I will give them a try. My buddy has the sport radials on his 450r and they hook up like crazy.
Flanagans twin
i have been running my 20x11x10 holeshot HD tires since last summer and i have never felt anyother tire with such a fierce grip. once they grip you better be holding on because they will launch you! moneybags
I used xcr's on my shee and could not get them to hook up at all. My buddy has the sport radials on his 450r and they hook up like crazy. I have the XCR on my cub motor. Their are the crappyest tire IMO. They must be like 2 ply cause they had 5 plugs in them When I got them. I would stay away from the XCR. Try any outhet Holshot tires but the XCR IMO. Hear is a pic
blakerman
hey man I dont know about the rest of these guys but I had a set on my piped and cammed 400ex that I just got rid of but I had the 6ply version, and my opinion was that they hooked up a little to well but where great trail ridng and ina drag but that is just me. I dont know if I would put them on a shee but I do think that they are a good 4 stroke tire just my 2 cents

Michael Jackson
ill agree with that, they are shit, my friend had them on his raptor, they wore out in like 10 rides, the lugs are so small and flimsy, and like the other guys said too, he had like 10 plugs in each one, he would get a flat everytime we rode, stay away from the XCR's...... i have the GNCC's on right now, they hook up absolutley awesome, they wear OK (razrs wear alot better) and they are tough as nails, i have at least 10 rides on them and not one plug, and i ride nasty terrain, lot of rocks/coal, but to be honest, im probably switching back to razr2's for my next tires. unless they come out with something new, id like to see a razr3, same style knobs and side knobs as the razr 2 only a little bit farther spacing inbetween, would make them the best trail tire out there in my opinion, they are just a little too close together right now and it hurts traction and cleanout, but they wear gret and slide awesome, and are tough as hell
