John
I can eliminate coolant because the fluid coming out isn't green, which is the color of my coolant. This tube is like a crankcase breather tube, it runs the whole length of the bike and has a t-fitting by the carbs, one splits off and runs to the right side case and the other goes to the back of the crankcase where the top shock mount is. I am not sure why there is such a high pressure buildup now that the fluid will travel the whole length of the bike on an uphill to spew out. My local atv shop initially thought top end, but the bike starts, runs and moves fine besides the slight jetting issue. They then said a possible crank case main seal... but I have a hard time believing that a bike with less than 40hours on it total can be wearing out already. I just received my TORS removal kit so I am waiting on a few other parts and then I will give it another stab at it. If you have any other suggestions let me know. I am completely out of ideas. Well my TORS removal items and my Cascade parts are in, so I am going to drop my bike off and let my local shop go over it and let me know whats going on. I lost two weeks of practice for a race this weekend trying to get this bike fixed, oh well, I will post up when I get the bike back and find out what the issue was. John
So upon re-installing my carbs I accidentally got the crankcase ventilation tube pinched in the boot carb connection which was not allowing the ventilation to happen causing the crankcase to buildup even higher. It sucks I had to bring it somewhere to find something so silly on my behalf. Oh well. Case closed, tomorrow I get my bike back and can get out there and start ripping again. Actually the power is nice, and even using the Toomey needles it still pulls very hard and there is no glitch in it at all. I did the Toomey 2:1 filter but I have an EHS air lid that I purchased for the stock airbox so I am unsure of which intake system I want to go with. Power is nice, I was actually expecting more to be honest. I guess the next mods will get me to where I wanna be.
