Sredish I would try Klotz super techniplate, or their R50 stuff. That R50 burns a little cleaner, but the super has that extra benol for added protection!!

I run Klotz Super Techniplate at 40:1

good info. wonder how the techniplate would work with powervalves... for my 250r.

no the banshee doesnt have powervalves

the main jet is inside the bowl on the bottom of the carbs, use a 6mm to get it out

tryed that, but the top peice would only come off. the other peice stays in there.. yes there is a little pin that needs to be pushed back i know for it to screw out , tryed that and it will wont come out.. it goes down but wont come back out. im afraid if i screw with it, i will damage the jet peice.

and thanks for the info!

That top piece is the main jet. The "other" piece is the emulsion tube. That little pin is a stake, to keep the tube in.

That emulsion tube needs to stay in there. You don't remove it just to clean the carbs. The only time I have ever heard of removing it is for machining the carb throat. Most guys don't bother with that stuff though. When they want more fuel, they usually buy bigger carbs.

I run Methanol  in all my bikes and use Castor 927 at 32:1

When I do run on gas I run Castor 927 at 40:1

I used to run Amsoil Interceptor at 40:1 back in the day.

I have no complaints about any of them. The smell of methanol and the Castor 927 is tough to beat. I absolutely HATE the smell of Klotz. A banshee should not smell like cherries or strawberries.
