John
will the yfz450 frt. shocks work on the j-arm banshees? will it only need the modifications talked about on the a-arm banshees? thanks! Is there a difference in mounting points on a J-arm banshee and a A-arm banshee? If the frame has different mounting points then my "GUESS" is that they won't work. At least without some sort of modification. I am rather new to Banshees and understand there are two different variations, even though I am not 100% on what is exactly different. how difficult would it be to convert to a-arms from a J-arm standpoint. nunyabinness
if it works on a-arm shees it should work on j-arm shees. but i don't know how safe it would be...
bansheefreak
when you convert j arm to a arms.. you run stock arms and aftermarket arms so yes you can run the 450 arms just like everyone else does.. the 450 arms just have to be trimmed.. see mulletmans post on the 450 arms.. Bill
I owned A j-arm frame before I converted to an a-arm frame and the only difference is the mounting point for the j-arm.The shock mounts are the same so there shouldnt be A problem. jedsled
ok,on closer inspection, i dont think theres enuf clearance between the j-arm and front shock for the yfz's as the yfz shock is larger diameter. grrrrrrrr. i dont really wanna take the shocks off my current yfz to try to fit. does anyone know for sure if it'll work?
