csrmel
when we go out to big scrub i suspect that during the day we will pack our bikes up and head out east on the powerlines road to the trails with no woops. all the trails near the camp entrance are wooped out badly and it takes more than a few miles of woops riding to get to the good trails. since its like 9 miles of riding to get to the good trails, it makes sence to pack the bikes up and head out. there we can unload the bikes, ride all day on some pristeen trails and come back at night time to the camp grounds to eat shower bullshit and sleep. thats what i did last time i went and it worked out great. i went with like 12 other people from a local atv club and we had a blast. however if you guys have other ideas im open to suggestions. we can awalys run the road and pray... fastrthnu
Hell, by December Ill have a house with all the riding,... drag, trails, or mud riding right out of my garage. Im movoing in within the next 2-3 weeks. Im deciding between 2 homes right now in the same area in Lehigh Acres. When I get it, Ill give the coordinates so the area can be seen on google earth. There is an area off one road you can wide open for a loong ways and its wide enough to line up 6 bikes if ya wanted. The only reason Im moving into this area is so I can ride any day w/o loading up

csrmel
feed are ok. im desprite to ride guys. ive been riding with a local 4 stroke club im that desprite. on the flip side, i found a new place to ride today. its called L-Cross, (check out l-cross.com) in okeechobee fl. 60 miles from my house. they have a REAL motocross track. and when the practice days are going, its like open practice. i was there today with some 4 strokers. since its open practice, theres no heats or deadlines. you just get on the track and ride however long you want. there was a mix of machines from a ktm 65 dirtbike to a yfz450, a couple 400ex, some cr250, yz250, yz450. i got there at 9am and rode untill 330pm. thats alot of riding... there was a little 9 year old on a ktm65 and he was every bit as good as me. i gave him thumbs up when he clear the 40 foot table top. i would have murdered for that bike when i was 9. all i had was an old 83 yamaha mx 100cc 2 stroke bike that had shitty suspension no brakes, broken shifter and kicker and a low power engine. by the end of the day i was able to clear a 40 foot tabletop sucessfully. i could also clear a pair of doubles that had a 10 foot gap between the 2 jumps and the 2 landings. its freakin SWEET to get air and fly. im so hooked on motoross now. i got pictures and videos on my camera phone but im having trouble converting them to standard format for you guys to see. plus the quality sucks. but anyways back to lcross. the current track is 2 miles long and is a mix of dirtbike and quads. they are building a brand new quad only track so they can seperate the bikes and quads. they are also making a REAL OVAL BANKED FLAT TRACK FOR BIKES AND QUADS HOW COOL IS THAT, i am so into flat track. so what im thinking is that after the big scrub ride out, maybe early next year we should plan a meetup at an mx track. i didnt want to make a new post about it since its so far off in the future. but i thought i should let you guys know about l-cross. plus the owner is really cool. he said he is open to suggestions on how to improve the track and such. first time entrance fee is $25, you get a membership card and injury insurance. after that its $20 to get in each time. or $30 for a 2 or 3 day weekend. they also have adults only events which is sweet. nothing like watching a couple of nekked girls get finger banged in the middle of the track. 375hp banshees
yeah there are alot of spots over there, check out atvflorida.com they list & talk about alot of them  you can have the mx thing i wouldn't mind the table tops but the other jumps & I don't mix LOL how far is lakeland from you... weather permitting we'll be there every weekend it's been kinda nice doing asphalt no cleaning up afterwards or anything , oh & no sudden woops outa no where in the middle of the race!! csrmel
lakeland is too far. its 186 miles each way, and on back country highway roads with stoplights all the way so it would take a bit of time to get there. if it was closer i would seriously not mind some asphalt drags. but at 186 miles i would spend $36 in gas eah way. whatever the entrance fee is. a weekends worth of food and drinks. so its basically i cant afford to do it each weekend. :\ maybe every month or 2 i could make it up there. do they allow knobbys? i would want to try it out first with knobbys before comitting to it and buying some slicks.
