letsgetthisdone
those are pretty expensive. you can get cub cylindes for less then a $1,000 USD. but thecubs and prolly those cylinders too, are drag race motors, very peaky powerband, with no bottom-end, very little midrange, and then a really hard hit in the top end. Steamhammer*Germany*
Hi, so if i understand you right, this cylinders are again nothing for street only driving, or not? What do you say, that i should use only the stock ones, for the street, or could you tell me some others? Thanks for your answers! Twister is also a fantastic company.

Steamhammer*Germany*
Hi, thanks for the link, looks good. But should i go now with the stock, cub, cheetah or this twister cylinders? BtW, how reliable is a motor, with a 7mil crank, stock cylinders and blaster pistons? chevrolet banshee
Hi guys, did anybdy of you know something about this cylinders. Link! They looks very nice, but i haven't heared something from this item. Greetz Steamy those are a little much don't you think if your just riding on the rodes i wood just use stock cylinders, porting and a head . that wood be a lot cheaper giving you some left over money to by some pipes, carbs, filters that kinda thing
RoostRocket
i talked to mike from cascade about those cylinders and he told me that if set up right they will run with the cubs, but the cub is a better choice. if i were you i would go with a 4mill long rod on some ported cylinders that would be a solid motor with plenty of power. p.s. of course you will need pipes, reeds etc.. to compliment the ported stroker motor. Snopczynski
I am under the presumption the small block is a setup for drag motors. It was made with big intake, decent sized bore, and a large exhaust port to desimate the equivelant cub platform setups. Then there is the big block for some real power. BtW, how reliable is a motor, with a 7mil crank, stock cylinders and blaster pistons? Wbr Steamy if you go 7 mil cheeta with power valves get ready to put a +8 swing arm, billet clutch basket,on and on.but with the cheeta power valve you will have a much broader power band.if i was to do a street legal banshee which i know nothing about,i would do a 4 mil power valve cheeta,2 into 1 carb set up,and bunch of other shit i dont know about.and probably gearing is going to play a huge roll.also reliability has a lot to do with how well you are able to put your motor back toghether.you know new seals, make sure you clean your case good enough so that you can eat out of them, new gaskets,no cutting corners,or using any chinger stuff.good luck. Steamhammer*Germany*
Hi Dudes, thankx for all your answers, you have been a real good help, because the banshee scene in germany is not so big and the people who know what they do are really rare. I will do it like this. I buy a set of cylinders in the USA and send them over to Jeff from FAST(the shipping is no problem, because i have a friend in LA/USA). Jeff should make them like new and port them for streetriding and i will buy the rest of the equipment from Jeff too, so i will have a good composition of all the parts and he can modify all so, that i only can build it toghether and make the carb setup. My friend/USA is visiting me in the end of november and could bring all the stuff over to me. The stuff i have is Paul Turner Pipes, V-Force 3 reeds. The stuff i wanna buy is 4mil Crank, with long rods, tz bearing for crankshaft, pistons, cool head, intakes, keihin carbs, straight cut gears, look out/up clutch, billet clutch gasket and a race clutch. This motor should be reliable & solid and should have a lot of power, or not? Is there anything else i need, maybe i forgot something or are some things a waste of money and i don't need them? Hope for answers from you guys again! Thanks & greetz Steamy
RZBansheeMan
If you have stock cylinders and crank on it now, with no porting, You will most likely end up doubling your power and still be very reliable. The only problem I might see is, if Jeff is backed up for 3 months (it was mentioned so in a different post) you might not be able to have them done for your friends visit in November. Also you might be better shipping this stuff thru USPS rather than having your friend try to take it thru the Air port and him trying to explain what all these "weird metal objects are" to security.
