Justintoxicated
So would a Raptor feel any roomier or is like the newer quads? I have never even sat on one but all I have read says that people complain about it being tall & tippy. I am liking the Banshee but either need to get used to it or get something larger. 1) Get something larger, maybe A DS or Rappy? 2) Ride the Dirtbike instead. I'm 6'0 and ~200 lbs no problems here although my knees will hurt sometimes. Definately don't feel cramped. Maybe get some Wider Arms or longer swingarm or something to help you feel less cramped? Sit back farther on the seat? Get some different handlebars maybe? Do you just have super long legs?
Snopczynski
You can extend the frame up. Look above his head in this pic, notice the taller height under the gas tank? See the 2 pipe hangers? Or click Here for the full size picture of it. Edited September 11, 2007 by Snopczynski
bbruischart
You will get beat if you buy a raptor. They are slow. No bigger for the rider. Get a set of propeg nerfs so you have a wider foot area. Put a taller set of bars on it. Ride it love it. Dont buy a 4 stroke.
sredish
Get some roll design pegs, a +2 stem with some nice wide bars and rotate them forward some. you won't feel near as cramped.
fishwater
Yep, I agree. I have decided not to trade for the Raptor even though I haven't ridden it yet. I spent some time this weekend in the pits loving the Banshee & I am without a doubt hooked. I ordered new bars, +2 control arms, axle & shocks. Here comes the money pit! Plus having this site has been a huge resource, quite honestly most of the guys on the other sites (raptor site) are either half my age or jerk offs, either way they have no clue unlike you guys around here. So whether it is the bike or this site, I am hooked, it is probably a little of both
