bladesracing
I just want to know what you guys recommend. I have a 4 mil stroker, all around port job, cool head, 34mm carbs. I manly ride wide open trails and dunes. I currently have Paul Turner midrange pipes and FMF silencers. Thanks for any help!

RZBansheeMan
I would recommend some stockers......... On a more serious note, it really depends on how you want your power delivery and or are you a person that likes looks of the pipes better or functionality ? If Ihad to make a honest suggetion , I would say either T-5's or CPI's, and that is because it sounds like you like to go fast in more open areas. 06BaNsHeE
I would go for T5s for more playing around type of power. If your into drag racing then Shearers.stay away from CPIs unless you get them Cheap
Hilarious
CPIs are good pipes. They just fit like crap and the stinger placement will burn holes in your air filters. So you ride wide open trails and dunes? Who did your porting? You may want to shoot this question twards whomever did your porting. I would suggest a drag pipe if your trails are not anything technical and are wide enough to launch a bus down sideways, LOL. CPI if you want a good boost in midrange and a bit of top end. Shearer if you want an abrupt boost later on in your powerband and a lot of top end.
sredish
Again, desired power delivery is very important to consider when looking for new pipes. Good all around pipes IMO for a setup like yours would be: FMF Fatties (killer, inexpensive, all-around power) Toomey T5s (good strong midrange and top end power, a tad peaky) CPIs (super strong top end drag style pipes, not a lot of low end) The Paul turners are good pipes, especially the Hi Revs and would work well for you but in a setup like yours, they will sacrifice a little peak hp for smoothness. For me, I'd probably be fine with that but I'm not sure what your goals are. The PT Hi Revs are my very favorite pipe. The lowend on them is almost as good as the Mids but the midrange and top end is killer and they are wicked smooth for what they offer. The CPIs would definitely make more power but in a very narrow powerband deal and wouldn't be smooth at all. There's always a trade off, you just have to figure out how and where you want the power. bladesracing
Thanks for all the ideas! I guess I'll just keep what I got for now, unless I find a great deal on another set. Thanks again!!
sredish
If I were you, I'd look for a set of PT Hi Revs. They'll perform really well with your stroker; similar to what you have now but a lot better rev out. I wasn't quite the fan of the Midranges like I was the Hi Revs. The midranges are awesome pipes for sure, but I like a little better rev out and the Hi Revs deliver. IMO, they're as smooth as the midranges, a tad less low end but come on strong as hell and rev good. WIth the stroker, it'll work well with the midrange pull and help broaden the topend.
