Toomey Banshee
Look at it this way. If you own your shee for a few seasons, chances are its gonna get ported. Once the top end goes and you get yer tailed whipped in a few drags with fellas with some porting your gonna want to get it ported, believe me. I have no experience with T-6's but my 99 has T-5s and is basically stock. It runs really strong. When the top end goes again its gonna get ported. And believe me, when I bought it new in 99 I said "nah, I dont need pipes or that other 'fancy' c crap, I'm fine with just the pleasure of owning a Banshee". 2 PORTED Banshees later with a decent amount of mods I'm thinking of whats gonna be next. dragbanshee
I have had both o3 with t6s and have now a 97 with t5s exact same mods, the t6 banshee was really crisp low end with decent top end and the t5 banshee is not the greatest down low but, i know top end would walk away from t6s on my bikes. Not sure what the difference is.
wood
i run the t6's woods port .20 over cool head +4 timing v3's k&n and it pulls real hard i ride tight woods trails and some wide open areas.as for in the tight stuff i think the power is unreal, dont know if alot more power would help but with my mods the t6's work great. RIPPEN
The few I know that got the T-6's dropped them like they were hot.. I was considering getting them untill I was told by many they didn't perform that well. So I went from T-5's directly to CPI  The T-5 was a great pipe and I would recomend them.. And don't say your not gonna eventually get that thing ported, we all said that at one time or another.. RIPPEN

RagunCajun
If you end up NEEDING to get t5's, you can just sell your t6 pipes when the time comes. then buy some used t5s. That's what i did. I got my t5's for like $275 shipped from someone on hq. Pipes were in pretty decent condition too. If you arent going for a show bike, id get a used set of pipes. I cant comment on my t6 pipes though. My bike came with them when i bought them and i have nothing to compare it too. the t6 pipes sounded freakin awesome though Only reason i went with t5's is because i want an all around pipe and my port job guy(flotek) decided it would be best for me.
