00tbanshee
dajogejr if you would come to bbdr and run you probly wouldn't ever come back cause the track plan sucks.not to say you would or wouldn't win but the bigger motor seem to not run very well there.but if you do decide to come would be great we need a couple new racers
dajogejr
Yea whatever my 4mill pulls a 19 to 40 ratio on dirt and you can even ask brad, to be honest with you i dont care youll believe it when you see it. Here's your cookie. Bring it... Again...CAN YOU READ? Pull that gearing in the sand...not dirt. In 300 ft, not 500... We have time slips around these parts son, and cry towels for you to go with them. throw some nitro in there, it'll be entertaining to those watching the yard sale... You gonna keep running your mouth, or you gonna throw up some coin? If that bike with the mods you've listed in the past runs those times here, then we have some of the sorriest builders in the country (one of which just happens to be the fastest on the planet, by the way....) Fastest stock cylinder/4 mil to date has been 3.8 or 4.0 on alky with a drag frame, professional rider (Under 130lbs), certified tracks (which...by the way...probably find a way to hand out printed slips as well) If you're so fast...you should mop up at the Planet Sand Drags...I think there might be more than 4 to 8 people in your class...so, I'm not sure you want that much embarrassment. Hell...3.8 and 3.9s...you'll be beating big cub and twister motors making 140 to 160HP....that's impressive.... I will tell you one thing, though...you are special....that's for sure.... You have your own set of Olympics.....as well.

shanYE west
not for me if I come its just to race and have a good time. to try something new to Thats cool Brad, Thats the way it should be. Not this builder is better then that builder or this builder sucks or that builder sucks. Its about racing and having a good time. Problem is that people in general are quick to make assumptions or judgments about builders based off 2nd and 3rd hand information. Personally I dont judge anyone or anything untill I have personally seen it run and tuned. I've seen 2 fast bikes run. they both run strong. I've seen and riddin 2 Passion Bikes and they both ran good. But.. I dont think there is many people in MI that have seen passion motor run. Last I knew there were only 3 in MI that I was aware of and none of them have gone to the track to race. This stuff goes on everyday with eveybuilder. I hear so many horror stories about GRR it isnt' funny but.. Every motor I've seen built by Andy ran HARD. The thing is that builders are like gods, to each their own. Their followers will defend them and some more the others. Thats why I never tell people what builders I dont like. Only a few of my close friends know wich builders I dont like.. I try to keep that stuff on the DL. Just figured I'd finally put in my 2cents on this whole ordeal.

Both of you telling me how bad the track sucks doesn't really inspire me to drive all that way...if ya know what I mean. Brad...maybe I mispoke, maybe you interpreted something wrong...all I'm saying is dirt is dirt, sand is sand....we run 300, you run 500. Until we compare apples to apples, we're pissing in the wind. You're a friend of Shanes....so, I'll leave it at that. He's a good guy, fellow racer...and I have nothing but respect and good things to say for him. However....I think if we could JT, Dan and a few others to go...it might just happen. Gotta e honest though, we're sand kinda guys...LOL.... [/quot Im not in control of jr, dont know why you would think that. but yeah anyways I would be a sand guy myself if there was sand around hear to run on. I use to ran at thunder valley drags and that was a sand/dirt track.. hooked like 80% better over bbdr I have ran as low as 5.7's there in 500ft but I dont post that due to them not giving time slips. so I really dont have any prof that I ran that I ran that to post it on here. dajogejr
Well...he came on here, saying he's your buddy and fellow racer... Fair enough. 5.7 in 500ft dirt out of a 10 mil cub on gas is very respectable and believable...we have a few Sand tracks in MI, one of which is PS certified (within 10 minutes of Silver Lake Dunes) One is 2.5 hours north of Detroit (Albright shores) and the other is 2.5 hours west of (Bob's) Shane lives 10 mins from Albright, alcoholbanshee lives 10 minutes from Bob's, and I hate both of them for that... :yelrotflmao: :yelrotflmao: :yelrotflmao: I say fuck the track, you guys head over for a weekend in the dunes. More to do....some fast bikes out there some days, turds the next...tell you what though. If you want to see how your bike stacks up, bring it to the dunes Memorial, 4th of July or Labor Day weekends. That's when you see the shit.... If you guys can't make it to Albrights end of this month, I'm trying to organize a dune trip middle of October. There won't be many people, won't be as busy...and it'll probably only add a few hours to your trip if you were to go to Albright. You maybe interested in that?? You maybe interested in that?? is ther many guys out there that run 4mil stock cylinder? i just got my done this yr you probly have seen in my sig who built it.kevin is not a real big name builder but he is building a good repetition fast i'd say.doesn't really matter if there is but would like to see how i run against other motors like mine.i will try my best to get out there to ride with you guys but can't promise that it will be this yr. dajogejr
Nice Mike... I've seen plenty OEMs go fast...and he might very well be fast at his track. If he can prove those times at one of the three tracks I run at, I will eat a whole flock of crow and announce it here... So far...I have offered to put some $$ on it, no reply. Brad... Silver Lake is the place then. We'll have to pick a time when the track will be open...hit the track one day, the dunes the next. To be honest, most of us go to the dunes, then sit at the drag strip at the dunes. And...there's not time slips there...LOL. It's big balls, hold it WOT, and hang on. BIG Whoops when the track gets chewed up. It's not even a track...it's a flat area 300 to 500 yards long....and people just keep on going and going at the drop of a flag. best of both worlds for you guys.... To be honest, at the tracks we go to, usually only a few stock motor bikes. Normally, it's cubs, Cheetahs or twisters here. But...at the dunes and West Michigan Sand Drags on a big weekend/race, you'll see plenty of them. Dan runs a stock cylinder, as does Brent (bigscrewduramax) Neither of their bikes are flat out drag bikes like JT and mine are...yet....LOL. There's always that "yet".....
