So what was everyones best times? Wish I coulda been there..

I'm lookin to spending the day at test'n'tune for albright friday... 12-9!! thats gonna be alot of passes...

Ran a 4.27 right off the truck....ran 7 times before the left side went. I'm hoping the nikasil is ok, and I should be fine. The bike will start, it's just got a few pieces of aluminum "Floating" around...

Borrowed Hoppers 15 paddle, and between leaning on the motor and more paddle, it's the best my bike has run this year.

Hit 4.3 4 out of the 7 runs, two bad runs of a 4.4 and a 4.5.

I actually broke into 1.6 60 foot times 4 times as well....

I'm gonna pull it apart this week sometime, I'm 100% positive it wasn't lack of fuel. My girl couldn't believe I wasn't pissed off because it went boom.... I told her It ran the best it ever has (up until that point)...so, hell now I'm not pissed, this shit happens.

Had a great time as ususal....we were gonna cut out an hour early, went to a concert last night anywho.

Yeah, 9 hours of Test N Tune, that' sick. Problem is, we're sharing it with trucks, etc....so, it's gonna get chewed up!

If my cylinder needs coating, I might just roll out there with a BIG motor...or some spray...LOL!!!

Nice to see ya finally break into them 2's, You had to be pretty geeked about that. People keep telling me to check my pistons to see if there cracked, but if it goes it just give me a good excuse to go bigger. It kinda sucks that season is all but done.. but at the same time.. I'm kinda excited for the winter to get here to start on the new build. I just sold my Z-28 so that should help with funding the new project. Hmm... what will I do. :ninja:

Well...other than two trips to Silver Lake with 16 cc domes (yeah, a big no no) it's been pretty trouble free all year...

A few people said it ran pretty good at Silver Lake Labor Day weekend.

I'd probably be a bit bothered if a rod was hanging out the front, or if it locked solid. But the fact that it started and ran on both cylinders until a tiny piece wedged between the electrode and strap gives me hope.... I've already got Pistons, crank bearings/seals are nothing....

I just don't want to wait on Nikasil...I really want to make the Bash @ Albright...hell, I"m looking forward to the party more than the race...LOL...

I'll have my new pipes Tuesday (of course) I'm going to make sure they fit, then pull the motor out and tear the top off it just to check it out, I'll post up some pics for entertainment...

Seriously...not including my first two trips to Silver Lake, That bike probably has somewhere between 70 to 100 passes.

My first year on alky....and I'd say that's pretty damn good....

JT...I was looking at our two race times slips, it seems like we were both stuck with lower MPH. Did you get any faster on MPH as the day went on? Our one race I pulled a 1.60 sixty foot....that was the fresh track we ran on, I think we got the first passes....man that was a good feeling run!!!

After talking to Roger, I'm going to stop worrying about MPH and start working on ETs....and RT's....

My first couple passes were in the high 4.30's @75mph with a 1.69 60' with my 12 paddles. Then I switched to Daves 14 paddles (could'nt start in 2nd anymore lol) and I ran a 4.30 with a 1.58 60'.....but lost 5mph. I am definetly going to be buying some bigger tires, not sure what though????? I really think the bike would have gone a lot faster with more seat time, as the track was starting to dry out.....but then my pipe mount broke. So my day was done!!

bike hooked hard as hell, but it ran out of gear up top!! I did not feel like screwin with sprockets so I just put my other tires on.

Dave, na I think the track was real wet, I could not get away from 72-73mph all day.

I think I am gonna hit up tyson for a wheelie bar before albright!! I had a couple passes where I looked like a pogo stick going down the track!!

Put a wheelie bar on......and them try the taller haulers again. If somebody wants them....for a measly 200 bones, they can have them!!!
