02ss
How many of you guys are running the bigger petcocks with the two outlets instead of one like the stock petcock. I'm gonna be running some 34mm carbs, dune port, and shearer pipes and was wondering if I need the dual feed style.
Lethaface
It mainly depends on the distances you plan on running at WOT..
jayzx10r
It mainly depends on the distances you plan on running at WOT.. I was wondering the same thing... I race up Old's (Glamis) and seem to burn a lot of fuel doing it. When does one know when to sport a Pingel for their 'shee? I would have never thought a 350/400 could burn fuel quicker than the stock petcock can deilver it...but I've read some stories on this site that have made me think about it.... :ermm: Edited September 4, 2007 by jayzx750
02ss
I mean if you really think about it look at these guys running turbo's and superchargers on their cars, it's nothing for them to have 2 fuel pumps. I know that's an exagerated example but we all know what happens when these things lean out... :pinch:
burleybanshee
I run a pingel and only have 35's. That being said, If your screen is clear i doubt you need one. I put one on because my petcock was done and needed replacing so I put one on. It's nice piece of mind, but unless your running alcohol or 39+ carbs i doubt you need it. I doesn't make you burn anymore fuel so it couldn't hurt. If you want to spen the $80.00., looks cool too!
Ducman
I haven't needed a pingle with my 4mm cub and 34mm carbs yet. I would like one though.
shanYE west
Like others said already. Its not needed for your set up. Stock valve will do just fine.
