FireHead
i emailed craftsman to see if they would warranty the parts and maybe remak them like they should have been made in the first place but they gave me a number to call and talk to someone about it, i cant ever get ahold of anyone thought... Weird. I ran my compression gauge over with a truck, walked into a Sears store, said I broke it, and they handed me a new one.

Bansh-eman
i think you can get just th gauge at sears. mine would not go in finger tight. i had to use chanel locks to turn mine in.

FireHead
story of my life In such situations I always try to incorporate the use of my main finger (small joke that grew out of a set of twice retranslated Japanese instructions).
