I had a set of Hoosiers and my 60' times were ok. I was told that they would get better with American Racers. I bought a set and 60' times stayed the same. I just do about two dry hopps and they are ready to go. THe Hoosiers seem to be a little wider than the American Racer tires. NYUK Posted August 27, 2007 Report Share Posted August 27, 2007 AR are stickier and require less heating. the narrow ar also create less wind resistance at high speeds.look at wicked atv drag bikes. they all run those narrow a ar. i have run hoosier treaded, hoosier slicks, and ar. the slicks were only good if it was 90 deg. or above. find the narrow ar. contact wicked atv.
