intake manifold

Recommended Posts

I am loking for an intake manifold that I will eventually use 35 pwk air strykewrs-but currently will try 34 pjs-

I wanna know who makes the best manifold, and whether you can go from the 34-35? also K&N filters that will fit both sets of carbs.

thank you

I would recomend the Boss Racing intake. They work with 33-35mm carbs so that wouldnt be a problem. It has a built in crossover tube inbetween the carbs. Really cleans up the area around the carbs. It also moves the carbs back and up so they dont hit on the clutch arm.

I run the same intake as jbooker and love it. It is nice working on the bike without the cross over tube in the way, plus like he says, it moves the larger carbs off the shift arm. They say it also adds a little power over a stock intake setup? I run the 35's with mine and k&n knockoffs from F.A.S.T.. IF you run this intake and 34 or 35, filters will normally ride on the pipes, so the down angled filters help get the filter off the pipes.

I got mine from In2glamis on ebay. In2glamis is Inland Atv from california. I have had some people tell me they are not the sharpest tools in the shed. I got my intake from them and my toomey t5's with no problems. They dont have any listed. They were the cheapest I found. I never called jeff at FAST though. There are several companies that sell some version of it. I think Majic Mike on here sells one too.

White Knuckle is supose to be the original maker. Theres also have the cross in the middle. Here is there link. You would want the medium one 33mm-35mm.

I got the real K&N's from Cascade. At first they sent me the ones for 33-35mm carbs. (I have Keihin PWK 33mm carbs) The ones they send me had the 20 deg angled flange and they were angled to much. I sent them back and they exchanged them for ones that were 10 deg angled flange they fit like a dream.

The K&N part number of my filters is. RU-1090
