Look at where those rubber stopers rest against the seat. I bet your missing the two front rubber bushings. There sould be rubber stopers in the seat where those 2 rubber stoppers hit.

Most of the time the front ones are missing. They are just made of rubber. UPP Racing makes a set of replacement ones that are made out of Poly. Two short ones in the front two tall ones in the rear.

Here is the right fix.

i have about $00.00 in this mod. i work in a machine shop (the stuff was laying around).....all it took was my time. the rears were on there.. so i saved $22.00 to put in the gas tank... it didnt hurt a thing and the plugs line right up with the hole were your nubbins go :biggrin: :biggrin: :biggrin: sorry if you think its redneckish!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

why do that, i love replacing mine every time i go out :banghead: :shoothead: :banghead:

so do you approve or think i f---ed it up..

it works for me they were not on there when i bought the shee.

i thought i had read in here a couple years ago that they magically can disappear while riding????

so why piss money away ... the stopper was only a couple bucks in the MSCINDUSTRIALSUPPLY catalog.. so i would be out 6 bucks if i bought the stuff...

:huh::huh::huh:

Everyone has their own ways of doing things, me personally - i wouldnt have done it cause my Powdercoat, and cause i dont like more weak spots on my frame, (a banshee frame is already weak) not like thats a crucial weak spot... Ive never lost my seat bumpers, and mines a 96.

they do magically disappear... after loosing two i checked often, only found one once in by the clutch arm.

I approve, I always loose them no matter how hard I tryi to keep em secure.

I dig this mod & understand about making the frame weak but I think Shee can handle it.

Good job & props on the mod !

i figured if (2) 1/4 in holes are the weak link in my frame i probably shouldnt go as fast as i do on it...... :woot: :woot: :woot:

Gorilla Glue that shit in place...or some kind of glue anyways :P I lost mine too but they are cheap to replace. I added some rubber padding to the top of the rear plastics (Where the wear marks on them are) as well to eliminate all side to side play. And all banshees I have ever sceen have side to side play in the seat to some extent.

Your mod is fine though.
