Any ideas as to what i could do? they make different o-rings for different pipes. the ones I used I got from my builder were a reddish brown color that are for CPI's I believe. I ran them in my shearers too, because the ones that came with those were smaller and wouldn't seal as good. call up a local builder, I'm sure he's got some in stock and can get you a set that will seal better. Bansh-eman
shearers are very bad about leaking at the same spot... even with new orings. you might try getting soem hitemp silicon and making a nice bead and putting the pipes on. Any ideas as to what i could do? Try some Permatex Silicone RTV sealant found at any auto parts store. I usually choose the grey as it is a fantastic gasket substitute. Just look for the high temp non-hardening silicone version. That will end the mess!!
Coupelx
thanks guys, they are a brown color and appear to be too big? I have some copper silicone that i used to seal up my exhaust on the mustang (ball and socket) that i will try.
greg_banshee
i think theres supose to be 2 o-rings i know my pro-circuits have 2 one inside the pipe that goes against the end of the exhaust port & one on outer flange... i had same poblem & i replaced them 2 o-rings and no more problems
Bansh-eman
it depends on what pipes they are. fatties CPI and Shearers i know all only use
