im looking into getting some shocks for my quad saw that the elka recreational shocks are only dual rate springs and not triple....was wondering why ... I called elka and even they really didnt know lol.....and i see raptor elkas are triple rate in the recreational style......i will be going with +2 aarms also......alba has a decent kit......any advice on this would be great thx...i do mostly desert style riding...non sand dunes just open desert......in the non resevoir style are the works G series shocks better?......also when i called alba and asked them about weight vavling they said all we need to do is put a heavier spring on the shock and the valving stays neutral...are the full of it?

hmm ok....I will be running +2 arms tho will that help?

It depends on the mounting tabs if you can run the shocks Do you have long travel or stock lenght shock a-arms. There is a difference. You can install the YFZ shocks on OEM banshee a-arms if you have the shock a bit. I have some aftermarket a-arms where the mounting bracket has some extra height to it which allows the sock to clear.

Raptor eyes [shock mounts] are very slim like stock Banshee shocks, YFZ's are bulky which is the reason for modifying onto the Banshee. Raptor shocks are longer & think it's a bad idea putting expensive shocks that are too long onto the Banshee stock arms. I'd see Dan first for that TCS setup he has before anything
