ZachBreck
I am looking at getting cool head for my 05 LE. I have pro flow with K&N, FMF pipes and boost. Do I need any other mods or just throw them on. Do I have to mod anything or what exactly do I have to do. Thanks for the help
shee rips
assuming you dont want to go crazy with the compression, you dont need to do anything else other than bolt it on there

shee4speed
I'm wondering what the performance gains would be by adding about 30-40 psi.compression.
Hilarious
I'm wondering what the performance gains would be by adding about 30-40 psi.compression. More power. More lower end torque.

ZachBreck
Is there any mods that come with adding 60 more compression? Just 17 domes and I should be ok?

jbooker82
If you get a noss head you dont have to change out to longer head studs. Plus you can get them anodized and 10% discount for BHQ members.
ClimbAnyHill
I think they go for $225 from NOSS or FAST. Comes with choice of domes and Oring kit. I'm sure you know to dump the coolant out before attacking the installation. Used light amounts of grease to seat those rings & make sure cylinder surface is clear from debris. You can put the spark plugs on the domes and drop them in along with the bottom plate. [Makes guidance easy.] Remove the plugs and drop the top piece in and start torquing in 5lbs increments.. Go 5,10,15,20. Follow the stud pattern as shown on the stock head!

quickbansheeman
does a cool head really make a difference in power?
ClimbAnyHill
does a cool head really make a difference in power? Yes it does, increases compression in your combustion chamber. Smaller domes, more compression!
