weres the cheapest place to buy maxxis rzr 2's?

Recommended Posts

yea razr 2's are great tires, i loved mine, yea there are tires that will hook better in different conditions, but the razr2 is a great all around tire if your not doing mx or something along those lines, when i had them i rode on all different terrain, and they worked great, they are a great all around tire and last way longer than itp's which are definatly a softer compound and have the split knob design, which will hook up better of course, but not last as long as the harder beefy single knobs the razr2 uses. they got a nice sidewall too, very meaty, and dont j udge them by the pictures on the internet, they must have 50psi in those things or somethin, because they are not balloon like they look, they are very flat, and handle great, i switched to gncc's cause they hook up so great, but they wear horrible, too soft, and the split knob is great for traction but they just get destroyed.

IMO the hot setup for aggressive, fast trail riding are the original Razr rear tires and Razr II's up front.

no kidden you just saved me some money, my original razors in back still have alot of treadd. there 20 inch. do you think it will pose a broblem if i run 23 inch in front and 20 inch in back?

thanks

23" up front and 20" in the back is going to look a little wierd but I dont think it will be too bad

i ride trails and im sick of getting my front end hit by rocks so i have to go with bigger front tires to avoid this. my rears are 20 and still have alotof tread left so id ont want to just ditch them. rather run them dry and then buy new ones.

so if unless im going to run into problems with 23 s in front and 20s in the back im going for it.

why do you think im making a mistake?

because i think there are better tires out there than what youre wanting to buy.. im wondering if any of these guys who are pushing the razrs so much have ever run knarlys, stock 450 tires or anything else for that matter. ive run those razrs and i was not impressed at all..

what about knarleys how are they for heavy trails?

whAt do you mean by heavy trails? i run knarlys in all conditions. trails, roads, rocks, water..they hold up great in all conditions. if you are worried about tree roots and rocks dont be. they are a strong tire.
