I have 150 mains, 45 pilot, cgl needle in middle. I've tried 165's down to 145's. It sputters through the gears and then falls on its face in 5th gear. Its not a lean sputter. I have a pingle to so I really dont think its sucking the bowls dry. It ran good for a long time with the 150's. Starting to think its electrical but not sure.. About ready to say hell with it and take it to jeff, if he's got time.

I run 165 mains, 45 (or maybe 48) pilots, and needle (not sure which one) in the middle in 35 mm PWKs in my stock stroke Cub. elev:300 ft, temp: 90. It's a little rich on the needle or mains, and perfect on the pilots. Don't know if jets would be similar for 33 mm carbs or not.
