hey guys I was wondering how many of you put tubes in the paddles.. my stems are steelwith a lock nut. do you think that they will rip out? and if they do, does any shops by siliver lake have paddles in stock?

i was in the tire buisness for years......

yes even with the steel stem and locknuts they will rip out...been there done that

i ripped them out on just a set of turf tamers...i know theyll pull out with paddles.

and yes david allen racing at silver lake has haulers in stock.

other thing you might do is seat the beads on the ones you have and set the pressure high and let them sit for a day or two....alot of times that will help or you can also have your local tire shop put some bead sealer on them.

I don't run tubes in my paddles, but i have in my knobbies. bad night in ocotillo smacked rock coming off the back side of devils slide and blew out right side rear tire, then when limping back to camp i picked up a damn nail and the other tire went down. so had to put tubes in each tire to make it through the weekend.
