Anyone have a TCS conversion done?

Sent my stock rear to TCS for a revalve/spring/rebuild. I was going to just replace it with an Elka piggyback , but for 300bux I figured its worth a shot.

Any way , I'm interested in how well the stock shock( valved and setup properly) worked out for any of you. I still have about 2 weeks until I get it back. I'm hoping for good results

I have one. It is better than several of the aftermarket rear shocks I have owned that have cost way more than twice the price.

i have a tcs dual rate conversion on my bike.

the shock is awesome....its so hard to build a shock for my weight (125lbs)

and they hit the nail on the head with it.....its a cadillac in the trails and the dunes.

my revalved stock rear fades BAD. i had a loacl guy do it. He put in a racetech gold valve and whatever spring racetecvh reccomended. Hes gone back into it twice to play with the shims. It works OK, but it fades after like 20 minutes....i think my front TCS's with rezzies hold more oil the the POS stock rear....i'm goin for the elka shock and linkage as soon as i have the cash..

IMO, I would take a TCS rebuild over an Elka rear shock, but you can't do that withe linkage thing. I also haven't ridden a bike with that Elka linkage, so I should probably shut up. :geek:

Talk to Joe @ atvsuspensions.com who's in glendora. I don't know how, but he'll get you a better deal than listed on their site. Fill out the online request form & he'll email you a quote.

or you can go to www.cdracingonline.com

they also beat tcs's price on their own shocks

not to mention tcs also uses eibach springs for all there shocks
