bigboybanshee
We made a mount that attaches to the pinch bolts on the swingarm, and welded a brace between the frame rails to mount the top bar to. Here's a pic, mine and the bike next to me both have identical setups as far as the bar goes. We have quick release pins so there's no bolting/unbolting...I can take some closer up pics if you're interested. Don't know if you have a place to get the materials but we got ours from www.chassisshop.com, good prices, lots of stock, quick to ship
ohiobanshee
Thanksfor the help. How do you determine the length of the bar? Bigboy will that setup work on a suspended bike? eric
alcoholbanshee
Rule of thumb most go by is....Wheelie bar should be same length as bikes wheel base.

MDS2106
Rule of thumb most go by is....Wheelie bar should be same length as bikes wheel base. What about the drag bikes with 10'plus frames??That would put the total length at over 20' I guess once the frame is so long you have to go shorter on the wheelie bar Edited July 16, 2007 by MDS2106
2bzy2p
it doesnt matter how far its plused out the front you still use that calculation. most 24 out the front frames use around a 6 foot wheelie bar
