Torque-Racing
I've never personally bought a car off ebay. Just make sure your not sending any money out. If possible I would go pick it up in person. I've seen and have heard of alot of people getting ripped off on ebay for big dollar items. There was just actually a whole article in our local newspaper about a man getting ripped off on a truck he bought for $11,000. He sent a certified check and never recieved the truck or money back. theshee
I would think about getting a car off ebay if the price was right and the seller checked out ok. I would never send all the money at once, I would give the deposit they ask for and then pay the rest in person, that way if you did get ripped it would be the full price. I would want the persons name and phone number, and like BG said, I would want to pick it up so you could see what you were getting. Ebay protects you pretty good, if you get scammed they make things right one way or another.
SoCalinIt
My buddy bought a 40' Diesel pusher on eBay for 80K... He did the whole deal sight unseen. He flew his son out to Texas to pick it up.... Very nice rig... Great overall deal for him.

IROOST1
multiple cars. mostly junk and bad sellers on ebay.
DSSA
I bought my Dodge 3500 Cummins 4x4 Ext.Cab, and my Z06 both on Ebay. Both were pretty good experiences. You have to do some research to make sure you're not dealing with a deadbeat/scammer though.
