who do you think makes the best drag frame and why do you like it trying to make up my mind on what style to go with seen a few run this weekened so im going to get one just dont know which one to get doing dirt drags solid frame or solid rear with working front suspension like the solid but with a working front suspension you seem to get better control down the track especially if it has some bumps in the lane your running in

if all you are gonna do is race on a groomed track i would go with the ridged but if you want race at the track and elsewhere i would get a suspended drag frame

there are alot of different chassis builders out there that will build you something to suit what your needs are. in the end you are paying for the chassis so you can get it in any configuration you want..

if you are going to only run on a groomed track then i would go with a rigid, if you still plan on running in the dune areas ect then i would deffinitly consider getting a suspended.. i would do either or in this type of situation, not a half and half suspended/rigid..

my best suggestion would be to call a few places and see what you like best..

Ask the big-boys over at plantsand. Do a search. Take your time ask alot of questions before dumping 3 to 10 grand for drag frame. Over her on this web-site ask NYUK which way to go with this.

the fastest bike on the planet is a black label frame. lone star makes a great rigid frame but are a bit pricey

are you sure? the a&s gss 24mm tripple twister was the fastest on the planet (with a 3.18), but i cant seem to find the pics i remember seeing.. if dan had it built i think it was done with the company he normally uses for his chassis out of michigan.

also whats with all the if's and when's? the poster was asking for actual experience with which ever chassis builder, not for an opinion on when you may get one..

lonestar: the "big boys" on planetsand are going to have the same cheerleaders like they do on this site only pushing one or two different builders and that is it, with no reguard to the fact that there are others out there that are competent enough to build a chassis that will suit the need..like i said, shop around call places, ask questions you feel are relevant, ask for suggestions from the places that are called.

i wouldnt be surprised if its suggested that stroker have someone build his motor for him, or to send the cylinders to so and so because they can make it run better than what he's done already..

I'm basing my judgement on the fact that I have seen them run on my local track, and have had the opportunity to take close looks at the frames and see the craftsmanship. Quick16 makes damn good frames and they go as straight as the track allows. No, I don't own one, but you don't have to ride one to have a valid opinion on them. Word of mouth and from the trusted people I know running them, and watching them run night after night is good enough for me.

Sure, there are PLENTY of other builders making great frames, everyone's entitled to have their own flavor
