badassbanshee479
dave, how close are you to that store that you bought that alky from?? how much was it?? if its close enough, think ya could swing by and grab me some?
dajogejr
15 to 20 minutes.... I have 2 or 3 gallons left over from our trip in April, but it's mixed 28:1 with Benoil. If you want that...you can have it...free. If you want the VP stuff, it's pricey....but I can pick you up a can..no prob.
badassbanshee479
I will let ya know, I found it for 2.50 a gal down at milan drag way. I may end up running down there for the friday night race anyway. You can get a 55 gal drum for 125 also! Not a bad deal if ya ask me! dajogejr
considering it's 35 bucks (a few bucks off retail) for 5 gallons of VP...yeah, that's a deal. Also, you'll need a drum pump with NO rubber in it...cause as you know the alky will eat those parts up. 125 for a 55 gallon drum? Too late in the season this year, but I can tell you that'll be the ticket next year for sure!!! At the rate I'm riding that bike this year, 55 gallons would last me 5 or 6 seasons...LOL.... dynodon
Dang, If I make it up to Mi, I am gonna have to find that place !!!1 We have been paying 4.85 per gal for our alky. I would bring a drum back to Fl with me in a heart beat for that price

Am I the only one that giggled when I scrolled down further and read "engine diaper"... http://www.milandragway.com/rockyspitstop/index.htm And I think Grainger carries a hand pump that works for methanol...too. badassbanshee479
Here's the fuel page...Am I the only one that giggled when I scrolled down further and read "engine diaper"... http://www.milandragway.com/rockyspitstop/index.htm And I think Grainger carries a hand pump that works for methanol...too. is that 10 mill gonna need a diaper?? Every time your bike gets close to my little 4mill, it starts leaking! almost like its peeing its self. :yelrotflmao: should be a good weekend! cant wait! I may have another bike going. Tyson finally got ryans bike done. Just gotta talk him into breaking it in and bringing it out!
dajogejr
Oh boy....here we go. Memory serves me correct, as soon as that little bitty 4 mil went to booze, you got 2-3 runs out of it before it went boom boom. And that was most of last year....until the end. (And a few trips to the platers, to boot...) I think I'm at least ahead of that curve...LOL... Yeah, it'll be nice to put some times down and hopefully it holds together so I can tune her a bit... I know my launching is gonna be all fucked up for starters.... Should be a good time. You get the skinny on that methanol, JT???
badassbanshee479
Dang!!! a little under the belt  Yeah it takes a little time, and there is a big curve. Hence the reason I can talk shit right now. You have to do alot of learning like I did last year. just remember, fat is fast!! Guess that works out for the both of us. :yelrotflmao: Yeah, on the alky, you can get it either Wednesdays or Fridays when the track is open. Its 2.50 out the door and you can get it by the gal or by the drum.
dajogejr
It's all good.... And I already know it's gonna take some time. I'm not really worried about the alky, to be honest...I'm worried about hooking up and gearing... Should be fun.
badassbanshee479
you and me both! I dont know if I have enough tire on mine. I also dont have any sprockets to change to try and hook it. I am gonna try and strut the rear of mine, I guess it can either help ya or hurt ya. we will see I guess. Still cant wait! I wanna ride bad!
