I really had a great time Saturday, and you really could not have asked for a better group of guys... It's a two hour ride to either for me, out west or up north... I've never run albright, I wouldn't mind trying it. I know Bob's is closer for the West Side guys....but, a lot of the guys that went also live in the metro-Detroit area...too.. Got a few weeks to figure it out...I'd have a repeat of Saturday any day (bike/company-wise.) Todays' weather sure would've been nice for yesterday...huh?? I thought today she would be sore but she is fine. The front end of her quad is a little bent up. Tires not strait, handlebars bent, and maybe steering stem. She was going to drive it to the back of the trailer and when it started the throttle was stuck wide open. Scared the shit out of me to see my daughter go flying out of controll like that. I was really happy with placing 4th in the brackets, i had no intentions of making it that far. Maybe get some straight paddles for next time to get a better ET. Best of the day was a 5.5. By the way, you guys wondering about the fowlerville gig. I guess its a big event, with mud bogs and tractor pulls too. I saw a flyer for it at TKs diner in hartland. Looks like it should be a good time. Can someone post up a link to the pictures on PS?? Ohh, and i went to a mud bog in pinckney today, and he also has sand drags. Called "phils sand drags" in pinckney, off of shafer road. Might have to do some digging to get ahold of a number.... I saw he had a water truck and a grader, the track was pretty sweet too. I might be a little comp for you btw. I think im going to be buying jankabs super cub cylinders when he puts my motor together :biggrin: It will be fun!!
