I just got off the phone with the guy and he assured me they were not RS. He said the RS was 85 watt and theirs are 100 watt. Sure hope this french canadian isnt feeding me a big pile. My friend just ordered a RS and I will be able to compare them and I will post the results...

Send it back to RS and get a new one for free?

RS has been in the buisness for a long time, and it seems stators ignition coils need to be very precisely wound, RS has been through it all. Let us know how it works out for you though, I don't know of any other companies making decent stators right now so it would be great to have options, although 100 watts isnt going to cut it for me heh. Maybe Electrix but I have not really heard anything great about them either.

It seems that he has some pretty fair prices and a one year warranty. The stator that I got was the same price as RS, but he threw in a flywheel puller and some Xenon bulbs. Just a little extra incentive I guess.. I will keep you posted when product arrives.

my neighbor ordered a stator from this guy, he got a 100 watt stator, new CDI, and new bulbs, with a puller, for 200 bucks, and hes been running the shit out of his banshee for almost a year now, he rides in snow, rain, sleet, he dont care, so hes probably got about 150 hours of riding out of his stator so far, and no problems, plus the guy is pretty cheap

just my two cents...

Ok, two things with this ass on ebay. That guy is a liar, he used to lie about stator auctions for yamaha rhinos. I called him out on it and even notified ricky the guy was selling his products and lying. Then, if thats not Ricky's stator, then this rm guy went to ricky's vendor and is buying them straight from the source. Cause that is the same timing plate, same stator windings, and even the same connector as a rs unit. Beware of this rm guy, he is a douche and a liar.

Very interesting Snop....thank you very much. I said the same thing in another thread.

If those aren't Ricky's Stators from the Canada RM guy, they sure as hell look like it, down to the color of the connectors. I"m on my 2nd one...seems to be ok, but...it's less than a year old.

Honestly, unless you're gonna run BIG lights, stock are the best....

Well, I finally got the stuff in and all seems well. Installed on bike and a big beautiful blue spark. I can finally ride for the first time. Just a little heads up on what I was able to pick this up for. I got the 100 watt stator, ignition coil with caps and wires, flywheel puller, and Xenon 45 watt bulbs for $157.00 shipped. Oh yeah, I also got the adjustable timing plate. I cant tell if the stator is RS, because shee had a stock one on her, but the timing plate is different. It has a different coating on it compared to the RS I have. For all I know it could be RS with a coat of paint. I personally had no problems with the guy, and got a pretty damn good deal IMO. Time to go get wet, got some ridin' to do!!

my RS timing plates are not all the same, my newest one looked like it had silver paint on it.
