freddy
If the temps where he's located have been anything like the ones around here, you can have a 30 degree temp variation in one week, which will affect the jetting. Seems like the cheap pre-mix, and the other symptoms are just a coincidence. Don't rule out anything, until you check it throughly. all of you guys make great point, i will check all that tommorow as soon as i get home from work, you guys are a big help, thanks alot and thats for being so helpful and friendly, ill keep u guys updated. .
pull the carbs, undo the tops and lay them to each side of the banshee they are on so you dont switch them. Pull the bowl and remove the main jet and their is a pilot jet in there that you unscrew with a flat screwdriver. Clean them both very well and I bet you might be back in business. You gotta pull the carbs off the banshee and clean them very well though. Make sure you connect the choke tube between the two carbs when you are done
Kama
Make sure you connect the choke tube between the two carbs when you are done Great point, this will definitly cause it to run rich and sluggish. I've had this problem before and I'm trying to remember what the issue was. If not of the fuel circuit issues are working I would try a pressure test to make sure you havent blown any of the lower end seals, but this is usually a tad bit more noticable than the boggy throttle. I'll go back through some of my notes and see if I can find the stuff. (yes I make notes to remind me of symptoms and their fixes)
