ok well it all started when i wanted to go riding on a sunday and there were no shops open to buy mix from , and stupid me bought some chaeap mix at walmart and as soon as the bike took that mixx, it bogged like crazy so i already cleaned the carbs with clean fuel, i checked my rings, theyre good, filters good, i replaced all the gaskets, and it hasnt gotten any better, and i already ran it with new fuel for a few hours to see if it would fix itself but no, and also it leave my spark plugs really wet! if anyone know wat ,might of happened to my bike, please help me, thanks

what year is your bike? Are your tors still connected? Is your parking brake still hooked up?

Does it bog as soon as you give it throttle? If your parking brake is still connected, play around with the locking lever (there is a little switch there) and see if it corrects itself.

I forget where you unplug it or if you have to connect the wires together (I believe you just disconnect the wire coming out of the parking brake, follow it to a connector) When you apply the parking brake I believe it makes a connection keeping it from revving?

well its not the parking break, when its in neutral, i revs good even at high rpm sound real nice, but as soon as i try to take it for a spin, it boggs in every gear has no power wat so ever, any ideas come to mind?? thanks

well you said it happened as soon as you put in the cheap pre-mix I would assume its still something with that. Is your filter clean as well? What premix are you running now. If its not the pre-mix the same thing you described happened when my ign coil went bad. It would rev fine in neutral but as soon as any type of load was put on the bike it would break up real bad.

how did you clean the carbs? Did you disassemble the carbs completely? Did you put them back together correctly? if you didnt completely pull them apart, maybe you need to, to make sure they are def clean inside.

Since it revs fine, with no load on the motor (in neutral), and won't rev in gear, I would say that you are jetted too rich, providing that your air filters, and carbs are clean. It sounds like it's loading up, and it will only get worse, the hotter the temps get. Make sure both air mixture screws are set the same, both plugs are good, and both plug caps are good. If everything is fine, then go down a couple of sizes on your main jet, and see if that helps.

ok ill make sure to let u know wat happens, ima try dissasembling the whole carburator cause i only opened it fromunderneath where the jet is at, and cleaned that really good, i thought that was all that was needed to be cleaned. but ima do that and if no results ill try lowering my jets to see wat happens, ill keep u posted. thanks alot

The cheap mix may just be a coincidence here. You said that it revs fine in nuetral correct ?? Have you checked the key @ the flywheel ?? That may have sheared off which could run fine without a load, BUT once you put it under a load the flywheel wont turn with the crank.

I would check it.

Listen, if that bike ran fine before, DO NOT adjust the jetting. You will be chasing your tail. When you change only one variable at a time, you will save yourself some headaches. If you did not replace the plugs, do so immediately. Find out what type of oil you put in the bike from walmart. Semi synth, castor, full synthetic, what ratio? If you by chance hit some water when you started riding and got water on the air filter, that will cause this for sure. I would not assume electronics, or jetting at this point, simply something fuel related unless you know something else is going on. So damn hard to tell without experiencing this.

Were the temps cooler, when it was running right? If your plugs are wet, then you are too rich. Plugs don't foul from being jetted right on, or lean, just rich. I had the same problem, with my new motor, and I didn't realize how far off the jetting was, until I went to the dunes. I fouled three sets of plugs, getting it jetted right. It would run okay with a new set, for about 6 hours, then it would fall on it's face, and wouldn't rev for shit.

it ran fine before he said until the cheap pre-mix was put in so jetting wouldn't be the issue. Most likely still has bad gas or something else is going on which could of just happened at the same time. Could be flywheel key, ign coil, or many other things but most likely its still something with the pre-mix. If the ign coil is bad just by chance, it will cause intermittent firing and wont burn off the fuel, which can seem like a rich condition but isnt. I still say make sure you have fresh gas with the correct pre-mix and make sure your air filter and carbs are free of dirt and crud

Also pull the carbs off and clean them with carb cleaner or something similar, make sure the main jet is free of dirt and is free flowing.

If the temps where he's located have been anything like the ones around here, you can have a 30 degree temp variation in one week, which will affect the jetting. Seems like the cheap pre-mix, and the other symptoms are just a coincidence. Don't rule out anything, until you check it throughly.
