You could complicate your way to a nice set of Roll Design'ish foot pegs.

I am actually wuite interested in the rear brake master cylinder deal. I am gathering that you don't have access to a CNC mill though. If so I will do the design and the programming / fixtures if necessary tonight.

Yea, i do have access to CNC mills, and could prolly get u one made in the future. Right now im just trying to make something sweet that I can send thru the whole shop.

Once i get my foot in the door here, ill let u know what I can do

Firehead pm me some of those ideas I don't have a cnc but I do have a manual. I own a pretty large machine shop.

I have to go spend several weeks in Las Vegas starting in the next few days, where I will hopefully have some more free time. I'll see if I can fire you something over then. Also, I am pretty sure I can get your WR master to work.

What I have in mind to for the Banshee cylinder if not CNC'd would be two machined parts welded together and then use a cap off of something else. I am afraid you might need a CNC mill to get a proper o-ring groove cut to get it to seal properly though. Let me know what you think. :geek:

HOLY shitballs i knew i was forgetting something. I am going to make a sick grill!!!! and a swingarm i think!.

Im guna give it some time, but this facility is sick, and i think they could start a line of atv products. If they had a customer of course, we are a LEAN manufacturing facility to say the least, so no inventory here!

I wont be doing anything billet. I do have access to 1/2" aluminum sheet stock tho.

Footpegs are another very simple, yet cool thing to make.

A gastank is also an idea, holy shit you can make a whole banshee out of sheet metal and tubing hahahah

It's not lean until you start whipping employees..................

I figure you would want something with multiple ops., setups, processes, etc. Hence the fancy footpeg suggestion. If you don't cast them, they are a bit of a challenge to make with a proper set of processes I would imagine. :geek:

Right now Trinity is the only company making a 2:1 intake. Might be good to design one of those so you can actually have a product with some marketing potential.

I like your design Matt. Do you still run yours?

Billet gas tank, 1.0 gallon for the drag racers baby....:)

not happenin'. how you gonna shell the billet? cant cut the top off, then it would be two pieces, and defeat the purpose. But maybe a rough casting with some sweet finishing work to the outside.......

Hell you could make them of 7ga alum sheet and bend them. Laser cut the flat pattern, and bend em up. Then weld the mounts etc to it.

You could make it out of a single piece of ally, but you will need a live five axis mill to do it at least. A six axis mill would be alot easier.

I dont see how it could happen at all, if the tank were to remain even remotely stock looking. If it did, those would be some crazy tool paths.

I like your Ideas, If you would make an extended swingarm, a nice set of heel plates, a clean looking grille, and some skid plates you may have a major buying customer if the price is right.

I know I would be interested in a grille and some heel plates. Let me know what you put out, and advertise it on this site I know you would get some costomers.

OH, BTW make sure the grille and/or heel plates say banshee somewhere!

Maybe have a front plate on the grill and have Banshee Cut into it!
