MDS2106
I just snug up the cylinder base nuts with a wrench,After first heat cycle when I retorque the head i also check to make sure the cylinder nuts are still good and snug. You can get by without the crowsfoot but you definately need the clymer manuel!!! crows foot wrench set http://www.etoolcart.com/index.asp?PageAct...amp;ProdID=4718 clymer manuel http://cgi.ebay.com/Clymer-Yamaha-Yfz350-B...VQQcmdZViewItem Edited June 7, 2007 by MDS2106
fracas
Thanks alot. Now I will put my bike together and break it in today Did the rings give you any trouble when sliding the cylinders over them? Is there any kind of trick or anything during the install? dajogejr
Put a very, very thin coat of two stroke oil on the cylinder. Do NOT overdo it. Squeeze the rings with your hands, it should slide in the cylinder no prob...
fracas
Ok here is my last question. I got my top in gasket kit with my wiseco pistons. In the gasket kit There are some O rings. Im not too sure where they go. I know where the rest of the gaskets go.
dajogejr
Are they roughly 2 inch or so in diameter? They're for the exhaust pipes.

RagunCajun
What's the crows foot used for. For the nuts on the juggs...a tourqe wrench has to be used. I'm going buy a tourch wrench this weekend and if i need a crows foot set, ill get one.
ClimbAnyHill
That's a pretty good price on the Clymer's Manual, I've always seen them priced around $30 not $20. Hell.. I might even grab that!

I bought a 40 or 50 dollar wrench from Murray's auto parts, thought it'd be good enough, ended up costing me a weekend of riding. 20ft. lbs of torque was actually about 10 or 12 on this cheapo wrench...which I learned the hard way. Luckily, it only cost me an oring kit and some water for the radiator.....nothing more.
