jbooker82
One of my friends got a 1994 Banshee. It has fmf pipes on it. I was wondering if any body could give me some info on wich ones these are. They have FMF stamped in them then it looks like there is a little name stamped in them down under the FMF Logo. Apprears to be Bill sombody. I was just wondering if they were the standard pipe fmf made or if the were gnarly's maybe even the FMF Rev pipe that I herd they made back in the day. Here is the only pic I have right now. I will see if I can get him to send me some more or maybe he will post some. Thanks for you time josh

Thanks for you time josh It looks like the torque pipes, but I need a side view of the headpipe and the chamber to be sure. If it is them, it should rip pretty good. That reminds me that I need to buy a set of them to hang on my wall. :geek:
jbooker82
I email him and told him about it. That is the only pic I have of his machine. He will probably put a couple more pics up. The silencers dont even have end caps or turn downs. Just a flush welded aluminum end with the hole in the end. You have to pull the baffle out from the back to re pack the silencers. sinisterboo
That name under where it says fmf is "don earl' founder of fmf. now you've been schooled.....
Snopczynski
Thats pipe is the old mid-early top pipe they made. The Nickel Gold series that come out in the 1993 range was its predecessor. If the header tubes appeared to have straight angles instead of a gradual curve like the one you have pictured, then those would have been the torque pipes. MRMOONEY
I have a set of pipes like these are they any good or should i try to find something else? Thanks they dont have much bottom end but once you hit the power band they run pretty good. I used to have a set and loved them but i rode in the sand and i loved when the power band kicked in. They probably wont be to good for trail riding or anything like that. just my .02cents
