RIPPEN
Once again I think Iam getting stumped by a easy ass problem... I have a Sony handy cam with a memory stick.. All I want to do is transfer my still photos to my comp so I can post them up.. Any advice or help would be GREAT.. RIPPEN
bigboybanshee
I'm not familiar with that kind of camcorder, but I'll just ask what comes to mind.... Is there a setting on the camcorder where you can view the pics you've taken? If so, I would try putting it on that setting and then plug the camcorder into the PC, see if it pops up a window... Do you have a memory card reader for that memory stick? A couple friends of mine have card readers for theirs and they just pull the memory stick out of the camera/camcorder and plug it into the reader, which pops up on the PC. Sorry if I'm not much help, but at least wanted to try

Yeah it has a play/edit function and I was in that and everyothere setting-LOL Also in the menu of the cam it had a "picture bridge" enable /disable funtion and I tried all that.. Still nothin.. I don't have a card reader and iam affraid that will be the easiest route.. But then again this has to transfer somehow.. Thanks for the brainstormin! RIPPEN

bigboybanshee
LOL! I looked online at the manual and it said you need the picture package software and you hook it up to your PC either by i-link or USB. Do you have the software that comes with the camcorder? If not, we can probably find you something to download that's compatible....we'll figure it out  Owners Manual
