Mullet Man
you will need to compress the shock some to get it in there. no big deal. it helps to back the upper spring lock nuts (the 2 large gold rigns on top of the springs) almost all the way off the threads. this will relieve some tension on the spring. might even be able to back them all the way off the threads so there is no tension on the spring. then rethread them on once you have the shock bolted in. and yes, where your marks are drawn on the upper shock mount, should be enuf. IMO when removing material, its best to remove a little at a time and test fit the shock a couple times until you get just the right amount removed. no worries man. your Banshee is just like every other Banshee. Word. Grind the upper shock mount a bit and then compress the spring to get the lower mount in and you are good to go. A solid pair of hose clamps make a good redneck spring compressor in this case if you do not have one. I thhink gimmeeabeer has done the vice grip compression method in this case as well. Washburn
Are they the RS A-Arms? Looks good man, Yamaha should have put those shocks on the Banshee in the first place.
