olmick
Well i put a tusk clutch kit in about 6 weeks ago, the clutch had around 15hrs on it and about 17hrs on the rebuild, it took 2 hrs for the stock clutch to give out to the new rebuild, well my tusk went out yesterday, its pretty much gone and i need a new one, is the barnett or the hinson pretty good, or should i just go with jeff's? Go with Jeff's clutch, and you won't be disappointed.

blowit
Just buy a lock up. never gonna have to buy a clutch for a while. We have one for 99 bucks that will work great for your setup. There should be no need for a lockup on that engine setup. I am surprised at how fast you killed a clutch though. Brandon
MILO
it sounds like you have bigger issues than having a junk stock and tusk clutch kits. are you sure it's assembled and adjusted correctly? do a search on here for clutch problems if you're not sure. there's no sense in putting in a more expensive clutch kit just to fry it too. FASTOYS
You dont need a lockup for that setup when our 95.00 clutch will work fine. Prolly need the inner and outer hubs as well now that they are worn. Give us a call or pm.
badassbanshee479
jeffs clutch held up to my cub motor with no problems!! ran it without a lockup on gas, and I am still running it with a lockup on alky!!
dajogejr
I used Jeff's clutch in 05 on my stock motor, piped and pod filtered banshee, 3 HD springs and 3 stockers. Probably had 40 or so HP. I had it on my gas 4 mil cub last year, all 6HD springs with no lockup, probably had 95HP or so. I'm still using the same clutch with my 120HP or so 10 mil cub motor.... YOu simply can't kill his clutch...it rocks. Worth every penny...as is his customer service over the phone. (Although, he's been lacking in the good joke department lately...LOL )

race-a-holic
I was using barnett when I had my old banshee. It was mildly ported,T-5's,and stock carbs. I switched to shearer and alky and they went by-by quick. Definitely use Jeff's.Those barnetts wouldn't have had a chance (in my opinion) when I went with Jeff's drag port. On my wife's banshee she had,it was stock except for T5's and K&N filters. We smoked the clutch and put in an old set of Jeff's clutches since I was going with new ones on mine. You better be hanging on.They definitely wouldn't slip and would try and point the nose toward the sky in a heartbeat. I was impressed.
