IMMASANDSLUT
Just wondering if I needed to put some kind of sealer on the metal gaskets between my case/cylinders and head/cylinders? Thanks Phil
wrecker03
I asked the same question about a week ago. I'm using Cometic gaskets and I ended up contacting Cometic. They told me that their gaskets are designed to not use any sealant, so that's how I assembled my top end. I think the stock gaskets come with something on them to help seal. Hope this helps. Although I'm using the Wiseco gasket kitm, I guess I'll leave it the way it is.
badassbanshee479
I always put alittle rtv on all my gaskets. To many times has my leak down tester shown a leaky base gasket because there was no sealant on it! Also seen reed gaskets leak without sealer too!
