So is it better to run the 450 spindles? I see people have done both....

if so, do the 450 tie rods still work?

just want to make sure I have everything ready to go for the change

the banshee spindles will make the 450 a arm swap bind . the 450 spindles will let you achieve 11.5 in of travel . BUT you will need to get a shock at least 17.5 in long to make it work . try an arctic cat firecat /sabercat shock , or sno pro shocks . double check on the lengths tho !

Finally got some spacers made, hopefully get a chance to put it all together this week. Got 2 sets of a arms, pretty nice shocks, spindles, hubs and tie rods in the making. I'm gonna have a couple more sets of the spacers made after I install them, if any one is looking for some.

Okay, so I just got in a prototype set of spacers that I've been working on developing for the 450 A-Arm installs. Currently, I only have this one set (installed on my personal bike) but they are absolutely perfect and I will hopefully have enough by the end of next week or first part of the following to include with every one of my kits. Check out some of the latest pics of the bike and the install!!

I uploaded them to Photobucket to allow for bigger, better res pics

Good luck man. This dude hasn't been around here in a long while.

I haven't been around for quite some time, that is definitely fair! However, after a long hiatus I'm back around the HQ! Unfortunately I lost my connection for the production of my spacers (at the time) and was highly involved in my training. But, I am back and I am working on getting production back up and going on the spacers for the conversion. I haven't read around to see if someone has started making these in my absence, but I still feel my design is one of the best for this conversion to date, at least it was at one time. So, within in the next couple of weeks I should be able to report that I've got spacers ready for the conversion. I see from my PM's that many people are still very interested in this kit.

So, keep checking back and I should have some good news, SOON!

Thanks everyone!

That sounds great. do you still have the jigs and willing to do the modification? What modification is necessary, I don't think I ever got that part?

So, we'd need the YFZ arms and shocks, then the spacers, modify the arms somehow then pair them back up with the Banshee spindles and hook on some YFZ tie rods and we're good to go.

Once done, on the Banshee, are the shocks stiffer or softer than the stock Banshee setup and how does it compare to when the setup is on the YFZ? Anyone do any revalves of the shocks?
