Malott 1
I have seen a 5 mill run. The funny thing is I posted in the video section of a test and tune pass and that bike was the one I was running. What exactly are you wanting from your motor? Just a drag motor or somewhat of a trail bike?
06BaNsHeE
I trail ride to but I want a Drag Bike.I know "you cant have a drag bike and a trail bike".But I deal with it in the trails.Im going to be running tall gearing like 16/39 or 17/39. Malott 1
This is just a suggestion but I have only seen one 5 mill and it is an older bike. You might want to call around and ask some builders what kind of experience they have had with that crank. Or who is the manufacture of those cranks your builder sells? You could call crankworks or twister and ask them. Edited May 11, 2007 by Malott
06BaNsHeE
Its a twister crank. He says he can get me the crank for 1000.But Im going to call him up and talk about a 7mm.Why do you say im confused? For not wanting a 4mm crank? Leadfoot350
Ok for stock cylinders use a 4mm and 7mm The cheapest is the 4mm crank can be had for 400 bucks. The next is a 7mm and can be bought from 700-1000 bucks. If you are going to an aftermarket cylinder then its a whole new story. I couldnt see why anyone would buy a 5mm crank for the cost factor. It just does not make sense. I think your builder bumped his head too many times.
