aye I used to llive in fort myers/cape coral. I still ride out in the yukapan and bonita springs alot.

Can't ride out at the Yukapan anymore. If they catch you, they take your bike. Helicopters and police on bikes will get you.

damn, that sucks ass.

i know croom well. the camping is nice if you can get a site. the riding is nice (not) if you're used to riding bulls or broncs. it's whooped to hell. riding in the pits is fun for a while, but for the most part it's not much fun on the shee. i wish i could meet up with you in ocala but i have family plans all weekend long.

yea,. thats what I hear. I have a friend that lives right out near there toward the end of santa barbera. Its all built up pretty much now. Really shitty. Used to be alot of drag racing out there too. I grew up out there. I used to live on del prado n kismet even before del prado went past kismet into 41. We go way down burnt store now more north. You used to be able to ride from gator slew all the way to punta gorda out there. we go Mostly out off w. terry in bonita though. cops dont really bother anyone out there for now. And the area out there is HUGE!! Gets me excited thinkin of all the good times out there in the cape. 14 years there I think. Oh dude has an mx track set up in his back yard kinda the kids next door built, if you got any bikes, you should check it out one day. Hes right on the edge of that hood where all those big houses have been out there for years. You go down where that industrial park is toward the "main" entrance till you get to the end, but instead of the right left in the corner, you make a left and hes down like a 1/4 mile on the right.

sorry bout the hyjack btw :whistling:

30 miles north of Tampa...it's really a good place to ride if you know where your way around...if you have a gps that would really help...if there are a few guys meetin up I'd be able to go...

if you're going to croom you'll need to bring a registration or title. atleast some form of proof of ownership. you'll need this in order to get the annual permit in order to ride there (july 1st to june 30th). it's typically $50 for the year, but they pro-rate it as the year goes on. this time of year it should be $35 because the current permit period will end june 30th.

i love certain sections of ocala. i've heard that they've restricted a lot of areas. i've ridden up there many times in the past, but not this past riding season. so i don't know how much it has changed. i know in the past you didn't need a permit to ride, but i don't know if that has changed either. maybe one of the guys that have been there lately will chime in and clarify some things.

you wana go ?

Ill have to see if I can make it up there that soon. Thats a 4+hour drive for me. Im waiting for tires STILL for my jeep and some parts for the bike. Im sure it would be worth the drive though. I think you have to have spark arrestors there too. But here is always croom too.
