cexualcensations
I just put my mx motor together and was wondering if my engine compression sounded right. .020 over,17cc domes with 4mm stroker longrod at sealevel came up to 205 psi per cylinder. dajogejr
Yep...sounds about right. That's a shit load of compression....hope you had the crank welded up good, and you checked your squish. Goes without saying you'll need 110 octane all the way for that bike...

blowit
205 sounds right your gonna be runing 110?? sounds like they did a good job on the motor. 205 sounds even a bit low for an MX motor. We generally make around 250psi static with our MX porting. Makes me wonder how it is ported. Yeah you are in race fuel territory to be safe. The bike should last a long time with those compression numbers. have fun. Brandon
