Question Regarding Banshee Fluids

Dealers fluids prices are costing me too much money. Is there any other 2-Stroke Oils and Gear Oils I can use, that's cheaper and better than the dealer. Please let me know what you guys use and how much it cost???????

I have a friend that uses castrol 2-stroke oil and some ATF oil for the tranny.He buys it all at HESS express gas station and saves alot of money

Buy it online and in bulk...

ATF will work fine, you will have to change it more often...but obviously cheaper and more readily available.

 

Buy a gallon of premix instead of a 12 or 16 .oz bottle....

when i'm out of money i do use CASTROL 2-strokes snowmobile oil it cost 20$ can the gallon and thats not so bad lol

I use amsoil Dominator for 2-stroke oil cause it is cheap but for tranny oil Bel Ray has the best product I have used so far, don't have to change it all the time and helps keep my clutch from slipping...

i have a buddy who swears on the walmart 2 stroke oil no joke, he runs enduros and its a very good rider, been riding using walmarts for a while now and hes had no problem

TIP- First buy by the Gallon and just pour it into a mixer or a 16oz bottle much cheaper. If you get it from a dealer tell them youve been getting a 10% discount from a guy, the one with brown hair you know forget his name. Worked for me when I used to go to the dealer for oil and parts. Then give them all of your information and get the 10%. Or make friend with someone there and they will give you the discount. I had a guy give me parts with his discount plus the 10% just from Bullshitting to him.

 

Also go to Auto Zone for your plugs. 1.79 a piece. If you dident already know.

I use the Honda transmission oil, Its about 5 bucks a quart and I use Klotz Benol. I forget how much I spent on the gallon..

Do what i did and marry a chick that works at a place that deals in amsoil. Then you can get it at factory cost. And you can actually say i really screwed my oil supplier! :beer:

Yea because being a good rider has everything to do with being a good mechanic. Thats the reason all the Nascar drivers build their own cars as well. haha just messin with ya.

i was out riding and there was a kid probably 16 and his banshee was a shit box in everyway and he ran chain saw pre mix.

 

me personally i run all bel-ray oils it cost a bit but i feel the quality is worth it. it runs not drips

All I run is walmart super tech two stroke oil in both the Banshee and the two snowmobiles. I drive em' like I stole em'. My friends think I'm crazy for it but never have I had an oil related failure or premature wear in any of them. :biggrin:
