dajogejr
You're asking a Blaster question on a Banshee site.... Not trying to be a smart ass....but, it is what it is. Try planetblaster or projectblaster.com... in the banshee world, you have to line up the arms from the clutch actuator arm to the pointer on the case...not sure if it's the same on a blaster... Then...you have to make sure the shifter is adjusted properly...again, not sure if it's the same on a blaster....

Sounds more like a tranny problem or a clutch disengagement problem. If you have grooves worn in the basket or inner drive hub, it will cause poor shifting because the clutch wants to stay engaged. Let me know what your are dealing with. There are no" secrets" to clutch adjusting. It is a very simple contraption but if you don't get enough disengagement when clutching, shifting will be tough. notatallhappy
There is an arrow on the case of the blaster screw in the clutch adjustment screw all the the way take up the slack with your fingers in the clutch arm, and make sure it lines up with the arrow. if not adjust the screw in the center of the pressure plate. Also one friction plate on the blaster is a different size, make sure it is in the right place. There is no adjustment on the clutch pedal on a blaster Edited May 8, 2007 by notatallhappy
